Hohoho. Happy 29th February 2008. For some, this is their four year once birthday so "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU". Hehehe. It is the only day where you all can celebrate your your birthday on the exact date. So, you gotta enjoy it.
So, I think that today should be a public holiday. We celebrate anniversaries every year and some of them are declared as public holidays. Then, why can't we declare a four-year-once day as a public holiday? Right?
Lol. Okay-lah. I admit that I am a bit lazy-lah. Hahaha. For us working people, this extra day in a leap year means we actually worked an extra day compared to normal 365-days year. Anyway, we should still enjoy it coz it only happens once every four year. Once again, Happy 29th February 2008. Ciao.

Fei Jie Lydia Sum Passed Away

This is a very very sad and shocking news for me. Just a few minutes ago, my friend told me that Fei Jie (Lydia Sum the Happy Nut) just passed away. I tried searching the net for news on this but there isn't much aside from this sin chew jit poh article here and another one in bloomberg here.
It seems that she died at the age of 60 due to her long sickness. She was hospitalised since last month(I am not sure, correct me if I am wrong), then later she seemed to become better and this morning, she passed away. She could not even celebrate her last Chinese New Year at home. This just showed how fragile we human are. We need to treasure everyone close to us and to treat them better, show them we care and let them know that we love them before it is too late.
I always hate this kinda news as it always keep me thinking of my loved ones and I cannot bear the thought of losing them. Now I feel kinda sad and kinda emo. I feel like crying thinking of all these. I cannot bear it when my grandfather passed away 10 years plus ago, I cannot bear it when my uncle passed away almost 2 years ago. I cannot bear the thought that I feel that I have not done enough for them when they are still around.
To think that I grew up watching her movies. I just can't believe that she has just passed away. Such a good person (I remembered that she did a lot for charity) yet she has to suffer so much. The only relieve about this news now is that she is now beside GOD in a place where she does not need to suffer anymore. My deepest condolance to her family and especially her daughter. May she rest in peace.

Happy Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day 2008

Hi Hi, I have a hint that this will my last post before I go for my Chinese New year "long" holiday from the 6th to 17th February 2008". This is why I will lump everything together in this post.


First and foremost, I would like to express me deepest gratitude to huei for this:

Thanks for backing me up and being such a great pal. Yeah, my blog is not a porn blog. Hehehe. Secondly, last, last Friday when I went to the pasar malam. I saw this:


And I bought 2. It looks so cute.


Argh, it is so nice and cute. Can any of you teach me how to do it? Thirdly, I wanna show you all my Valentine's day present for my gf which I bring her to buy yesterday. She is so surprised that I brought her to choose this:



Yes, I bought an ODM watch for my gf as Valentine's day gift. This Valentine's will be our 7th Valentine's Day togehther.

After you unpack it, this is what you see. Isn't the box cool?


You open i t and there's the watch waiting for you. I've been wanting to buy an ODM for my gf for so long and I have finally found the occasion to buy it for her.


This is after I take it out of the box. Hehehe. For my gf and I we always think of what we wanna buy for each other and then we let each other to choose to one we like.


This is the watch after we completely remove it from everything else. Nice? Aside from buying present, most of the time, I will buy/make/give some extra surprises on the day that the occasion happens. Flowers, extra gifts, chocolates, nice dinner, etc. etc.


There, the display showing the time I took the picture yesterday night. It is now safely in the hands of my gf and she is damn happy to receive it. Hehehe. Oh yeah, sometimes, we will just go shopping together to buy presents for each other IF we (or one of us) do not have any idea what we want to buy for each other. We just want to buy the most suitable present for each other.

Ok, that's about all for my updates before Chinese New Year. Iwill wanna take this opportunity to wish all of you;

Anyone of you wanna help me collect angpau packets (without money inside) as my gf and my sister collect it for the designs. Please help me and collect it. Your help is much appreciated.
