Alaska Spider Crab @ Unique Fisherman Cheras

Last Sunday, my gf, Cherene and Me, went to a restaurant called the Unique Fisherman with Belle and Sam. It was already planned after our Bah Kut Teh escapade with YY. Since YY say that she can't eat crabs, she did not join us for this crabbing session. Hehehe.

We went straight into the restaurant when Belle and Sam arrived. At first, we sat at the table and looked at the menu but later on, we decided to go out to look at the various seafood and order at the same time. The photo below are the fishes, lobsters, crabs and the Spider Crab which we ordered.

Oysters, Abalone, Geoducks, Scotland Clams and fishes. Oh btw, the crab at the right side of the photo is the one we ordered.

Lobsters shot at random.

Mud Crabs which we usually eat. There are other crabs around such as Snow Crabs and Flower Crabs but I forgot to take them.

A lot, a lot of Tiger Prawns.

Erm, the first dish to arrive was actually the shark fins which Belle and my gf ordered. Then it is this I forgot what's the cooking style abalone. We ordered 2 of this cooking style. One for each pair.

Here is yet another one of the I forgot what cooking style abalone. Same as the one before this. One for each pair. Now only I knew that abalone has shell. Hahaha. My gf say she prefer the one before this as u can taste more of the abalone compared to the this other style.

The next dish to arrive is this Japanese Snails. I think it is the dunno what with onion style. Hahaha. Very nice, very fresh. We enjoyed it a lot.

The next one to arrive is this. Fried Kai Lan with Anchovies. Belle said the seaweed looked like "Bulu". Hahaha. This dish is normal lo, nothing to shout about.

Here's half of the main reason we came to this restaurant to eat. The Alaska Spider Crab. I remembered what style it is. It is the Salted Egg style. Hahaha.

Here's the second part of it. If I remember correctly, this one should be the one cooked with "Seong Thong" style. If I remember correctly la. Hahaha. It seems that the majority of us liked the one below more than the salted egg one. This is because you can eat the real taste of the crab. Another comments from Belle and my gf is that the sauce tasted a bit like sharks fin soup. Hahaha.

Here's another photo of Sam and Belle. The 3 (or is it only Belle and my gf), said that they are damn full after the meal while for me, I said that I can still sapu McDonald's after this. After that we took some photos and chat a bit before asking for the bills.

Lastly, the bill. The whole meal costs us RM 651.20 minus the mango pudding which my gf and Belle ordered after that. For those of you who wanna get the address and phone number of the restaurant, it's in the bill. The food was nice and we enjoyed ourselves. Since Sam and Belle have not passed me their wedding invitation card, we found another reason for a makan session before their wedding. Hehehe.
